After spending 25 years working for some of the leading lighting control manufacturers and suppliers, Martin Davies started MD Lighting Controls to provide support and programming services of some of the leading mood lighting control systems on the market. We now freelance to some of the countries most prominent lighting designers, high-end property management companies and lighting control manufacturers. We are extremely passionate about lighting controls and believe that "light is nothing without control" and that every lighting control system deserves to be set up bespoke to the user's requirements. Having a lighting control system setup correctly can transform the way a room looks and gives it multiple purposes, it can save energy by having occupancy sensors and a last person out switch to turn all the lights off to the entire building on exit. It can also increase security by having a smart holiday mode that learns how you use your lights and curtains, so when it's enabled, it will make the house look like its occupied. The options are limitless.
